Book

Book finished: "Dragon's Egg", by Robert L. Forward. Humans discover a neutron star passing the solar system, and upon investigating, discover life on the surface that is living at a rate that's one million times faster than we live. Forward himself described the book as a textbook on neutron star physics disguised as a novel, and that's pretty much my assessment too; while the science part was great, I had problems with several other aspects. He's a scientist, and it was his first novel, so it's forgivable. His storytelling improved greatly in his later work.
