Tied 2-2 in a friendly match today against...? Not my best match by any stretch; had a few bad screw-ups. We're playing without a sweeper, but I was still expected to organize the defense while covering a man.

One decent run up, won a corner. Injuries: scraped knee, bump on shin, bruised toe. Also took an elbow to my hip that sent searing pain down my leg for 30 seconds, but it went away.

Season starts for real next week.
