movies

We caught "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" and "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill" today. Both were a delight.

The former we saw on a screen not much bigger than a large screen TV, and with a suspiciously square aspect ratio. We won't be going back there.

Movies

Saw "Red Planet". For some reason I got confused and thought it was a film adaptation of Kim Stanley Robinson's "Red Mars", which is why I picked it up. It was the exact average of every sci fi movie ever made. I weep for the money wasted on special effects.

Re-watched "The Castle" tonight, now that we have some more Australian perspective. It's not perfect, but I actually enjoyed it quite a bit more this time, and I liked it the first time.
