Started, but immediately returned, Bruno Manz's "A Mind In Prison". It's his account of being a Hitler Youth and later a Nazi soldier. Strangely childish and unriveting. Author feels need to constantly point out that these things he said and did were bad, and that he doesn't think this way now. And yet he doesn't put a lot of blame on himself. But what do I know.

Caught "The Remains of the Day" on TV the other night. Still my favorite movie ever.

Rented another couple of movies for a rewatch: "Dangerous Liaisons" and "Trainspotting".

Finished "The Demolished Man", by Alfred Bester. Good.
