Soccer

Had first match of the season -- a friendly against St Georges?, out in the middle of nowhere (Hellenic soccer club).

Some new blood on our team, and we had hardly played together, but we seemed pretty solid, so prospects are good. We were scoreless after the first half. Then, in the second, I let a fast little guy get behind me, and boom, we're down 0-1. Boo. It was the only goal of the game. Despite giving up the game winner, I think I played decently. I had one of our best chances, coming up on a corner to head it just wide. And I made a few good passes too.

Injuries: scrape to side of nose, which I have no idea how it happened. No hip or leg issues at all! Yay.
