Saw Pirates of the Caribbean II, which had too much plot, but good special effects.

Finished "The Best American Science Writing 2006" which was excellent. Will have to track down the rest in the series now.

Saw "Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten", which was very good, save for the unnecessary directorial flourishes. Miss ya, Joe.

Rented "Wordplay" about crossword puzzles, which was good fun.

On the plane I saw "Lucky Miles" which was very good. Also saw "Flight of the Phoenix" in the hotel, which was average.
