Books

Skimmed "The Pale Blue Dot" by Carl Sagan, which had too much I already knew.

Abandoned "Coyote" by Alan Steele. It was decent enough sci fi, but I found nothing at all exceptional in the first 150 pages, so I quit. Kudos to him for at least sticking to the rules of science instead of using the usual force fields, tractor beams, and hyperspace drives.

Book

Finished "The Equation That Couldn't Be Solved: How Mathematical Genius Discovered the Language of Symmetry" which was a bit scattered, and only skimmed over the more interesting theoretical bits. I liked some of the historical bits though, and it did convince me that group theory is very interesting and I need to know more.
