Went and saw "Gran Torino", which was good.
Rented Kubrick's "The Killing", which was dated and flawed, but still way ahead of its time, and well worth a watch.
Finished "Mathematics: The New Golden Age", which I found in a used bookstore, and was just about the perfect book I was looking for. It covers all the beautiful mathematical discoveries from the last 40 years, simply, but without dumbing it down or being afraid to include equations. Perfect for me as I'm getting back into math. Very recommended.
